alfanar IT implementing an E-Archiving solution at King Saud University "KSU" with an up to date, state of the art electronic archiving capabilities for medical records in both King Khaled University Hospital KKUH and King Abdul Aziz University Hospital "KAUH", that will be capable of meeting the long term and enterprise wide needs.
The main component of the solution will be Open Text e-Docs solution. Which ensures and deliver the most cost-effective and risk free path to meet King Saud University business requirements for a flexible, readily accessible and easily maintained “Digital File” (N-tier document management environment).
The main goal of this project is to have an e-Archiving solution that is capable of handling, scanning, indexing, archiving, retrieval, and management for large amounts of hospital present and future documents, images, and reports of existing medical records (1,300,000 files) for King Khaled University Hospital and King Abdul Aziz university hospital. The Open Text eDocs system will interface and integrate with existing medical applications at these (2) hospitals to maintain a single data access location and to avoid duplicates of data and to keep the data updated.
